Dogs love squeaky toys, but they can drive owners a little nuts. Do you know what my dogs love the most?
Oinking pig toys. Yup, these are latex pigs which oink or grunt rather than squeak. Boxers love these things. In fact the spotted latex piggies are kinds famous in the Boxer Dog groups.

Oinking Pig Dog Toy
I am lucky that my dogs don’t destroy their dog toys. My Jack Russell Brody was a different story.
We have a pink pig toy, a warthog, and two spotted pig dog toys. I find them in various locations in the house and on random occasions hear grunting coming from the corners of the house.
I don’t know why these oinking pig toys are a favorite with Boxers. Maybe it’s because Boxer dogs are clowns themselves and get a great deal of joy over funny sounds.
Maybe my dogs I think they are actually alive. Small squeezes give a tiny oink, but a big squeeze emits a very loud GRUNT. Whatever it is you can spend an entire evening watching your Boxers be thoroughly entertained.
Best Toys for Boxers
The best toys for Boxers are ones they keep going back to over and over and are slightly obsessed . If your Boxer babies destroy toys then these rubber pigs won’t last long.
But I happen to think that it’s totally worth the price watching our Boxer babies so enjoy something so much fun!
Some pigs don’t last long. Normally it is the offending oinking noise that comes off first. They sadly met their demise soon after contracting severe laryngitis.
Ironically some dogs tear apart the squeaking toys but love on the oinking ones. They are just too darn funny to watch. There is just something about the pigs that are irrestible.
